BULLE
Menino Bulle are an Mexican electronic rock band formed in 2014 in Mexico City. The band's line-up includes founders Homero Ortega (lead vocals & synths) and Enrique Zarza (rapping vocalist & synths); also Rodrigo Ortega (guitar), Damir Ortega (bass guitar), and Bernardo Huerta (drums, percussions).
Formed after the dissolution of Homero's previous band, Turbina, Menino Bulle's developed a style of pop-oriented, electronic rock music. Their sound has evolved to incorporate a variety of different styles and influences, including a little bit of trip hop, hip hop and R&B with lyrics in spanish.
Menino Bulle released his first EP called "Eva" in 2014, later in 2017, they worked with the mexican producers Sacha Triujeque (Gustavo Cerati), Erick Urbina (Juan Gabriel) and Fermín Sánchez (The Guadaloops) to release to their first LP "Danza en el Agua", an album in two parts, whose "Side A" took them to an extensive concert tour troughout 2018 and a "Side B" that in 2019 will be featured live in Mexico and for the first time in the US during the SXSW festival.
In addition, in 2019, Menino Bulle was chosen finalist from among more than two thousand musical proposals for #MTVemergente of MTV Latin America.
Menino Bulle means "Bubble Boy".
